Placeholders

Any {placeholder} used in a business journey must be supplied by the inputs file.

If the business file uses {card_number}, the inputs file must provide card_number:

card_number: "4421"

Missing placeholders fail before DialogAssert invokes the agent, so a typo costs you a validation error rather than a model call.

Why placeholders instead of literal values

• The journey stays readable as a business document.
• Test data can change without editing acceptance criteria.
• The same journey can be pointed at different customers or environments.
